Flow
Flow is a state that increases a person’s productivity, focus, potential and discipline.
A person can get into their flow by extreme focus on their work and by a well discipline.
Sometimes you notice that you started working, and the work might feel interesting, your brain gets attached to it, you have squinted your eyes in the work, and your brain can’t feel that you are working, and when you see the time, it’s already 3 to 4 hours passed, which means you worked without burning out. A person can get their flow in 20 minutes of deep work.
Do you remember? When was your last flow?
A normal person can be capable of 12 to 13 hours in flow. Don’t try to get in more aggressively just for one or two days; you have to increase your potential and productivity day by day
These are the steps that will help you to get your flow:-
1. When you start working, your mind can be unstable (focusing on other things). From my personal experience, I do meditation 5 minutes before doing work because a unstable mind can’t let you go more than 10 to 15 minutes.
Don’t go all out at work for only one or two days. Start with 45 minutes to 1 hour, then take a 10 to 15 minute stretch, hydrate, and walk. It will help you to restart your mind.
2. When you are working, don’t use your phone. If you are working with your phone, then only work; don’t scroll or respond to notifications.
3. Don’t take two types of work
1. Easy Work
2. Difficult work
When you take easy work, you do it very easily means you are no longer interested in that work, and you will start other things, like scrolling.
And when you take on difficult work, your mind gets overwhelmed, and you leave that work
So, how can you do your work?
Start with normal work, or if you have any work that you are interested in it then choose that.
Then start levelling your work like a game, climb every stair just step-by-step, with celebrating your victory, "victory" gives you more greed and more desire for work.
4. Congratulations! You have unlocked the path to get into flow.
If you are more productive in your work, you can unlock it into 10 days, 3 weeks or a month, but if you are thinking you have to go short, then you can go short; besides it takes more time to be productive towards your work. Similar in the both cases, you have to do 1% better everyday.
Conclusion
Flow is not just a state that can be used for your work; it unlocks extreme focus, your determination, and a new habit. By getting this for a longer period, you will realise that you are the best.
I again say, flow is not only for work, it is a gift that you have to unlock by your potential, and this makes you more capable and productive than others.
